just a little note about the blues exhibit:nn's art work was displayed at the sussex county arts&heritage council gallery, the weather cooperated and provided everyone with a blue sky and comfortable temperature. the perfect backdrop for the second saturday events. we sat outdoors at a la mode. sipped coffees & sampling a few treats on their menu.suggest you,stop by and pick up a cupcake or two ! while we listened and enjoyed the blues played by the roadside louis blues band (loved the sounds coming from that harmonica & the cello) meanwhile vivian's provided retail therapy to those of us strolling along spring street .tasting wonderful cheese provided by the cheddar alley, enjoyed a poetry reading at the scahc gallery . our day with friends ron & wanda kemp joining my hubby sal,son dion and myself for a great dinner at jc's grill house where they grilled our meat with perfection! ,have to mention our deserts ,the flourless chocolate torte and carrot cake,a perfect ending to a perfect day .thanks to the owner joe cotton for opening this great new place to dine in the heart of newton center,please support your local "main streets . for more info about newtonand upsoming events , go to www.mainstreetnewton.com
